At The Ross Firm, we believe in the strength of community—within our office and throughout the places we live and work. We’re excited to introduce Tacos for a Cause, a new initiative launching August 1, 2025, that brings our values of appreciation, connection, and giving into one simple, meaningful program.
Here’s how it works: using the Hey Taco! app in Slack, our internal communication platform, team members can send each other virtual “Tacos” to recognize the moments that matter—whether it’s lending a hand, going the extra mile, or just showing up with a great attitude. These virtual Tacos are like small tokens of gratitude—fun emojis with real meaning behind them—that help us acknowledge and celebrate everyday contributions in a positive, informal way.
And now, they’ll also do something even bigger. For every Taco shared, The Ross Firm will contribute to a donation pool that supports charitable causes chosen by our staff. Each team member has the opportunity to select an organization that’s meaningful to them—and as Tacos are given, donations are made. It’s our way of turning appreciation into action.
This initiative not only encourages positivity in our workplace, but also reflects our firm’s ongoing commitment to giving back. We’ll be sharing updates about the organizations we’re supporting and the impact we’re making together—because every small gesture of thanks can help make a bigger difference.
