Darlene Daley has spent more than twenty years helping people through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Called to the bar in 2002, she built her family law practice on straight talk, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to helping clients move forward.
She handles the full range of family law matters — parenting disputes, child and spousal support, property division — and brings the right approach to each one. Where resolution is possible, she’s collaborative and measured. Where it isn’t, she’s a fierce advocate. Clients trust her to know the difference.
Her practice includes complex financial files involving high net worth individuals, family businesses, significant assets, and the particular challenges that come with blended families. She also has deep experience in high-conflict matters, where clear strategy and careful handling of the process matter most. Whatever the situation, she works to cut through the complexity and give clients clear direction when they need it most.
Darlene is well-versed in mediation and recognizes that many family disputes are better resolved outside of court. When litigation is the right path, she pursues it with focus and determination.
Her experience runs deeper than most. From 2012 to 2026, she served on the panel of the Office of the Children’s Lawyer, representing children and giving courts an independent voice on their needs and perspectives. From 2019 to 2022, she served as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Superior Court of Justice, helping parties find early, workable solutions.
Originally from Exeter, Darlene practised in London for many years before returning to Huron County to serve her home community. She is a member of both the Middlesex Law Association and the Huron Law Association.
People come to Darlene because she’s calm, practical, and in their corner. She brings compassion to matters that can be resolved, and resolve to matters that can’t.
