Chase McNabb is an articling student with the Ross firm. He received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2025. Chase also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Peace, Conflict, and Justice Studies from the University of Toronto, where he graduated with High Distinction, as well as a Master of Arts in Human Rights from Columbia University.
While in Law School, Chase worked at the Justice and Corporate Accountability Project, conducting legal research on human rights violations committed by Canadian mining companies operating in Africa. He was also selected to participate in Osgoode’s International and Transnational Intensive Program, through which he completed a clinic placement at a boutique class action law firm in Vancouver.
Chase is a passionate advocate for social justice and human rights. Prior to law school, he worked at an international multi-stakeholder initiative, collaborating with governments, civil society organizations, and extractive companies to improve security and human rights in the oil, gas, and mining sectors. He has worked and volunteered at a variety of nonprofit organizations, including Human Rights Watch, Children of Hope Uganda, the United Nations Development Programme, and the Desmond Tutu Health Foundation.
Outside of the office, Chase is an avid hiker, skier, reader, and traveller.
